was talking to daphne and audrey after early service on sunday when aunty winnie came up and talked to us too. she's really nice she was asking me how's uni and i said it's tough and i didn't like what i'm doing. aunty winnie started telling me how she's a head hunter for banks (helps banks find employees) and whenever she asks for their requirements, banks will prefer nbs students over nus and smu. and she said to take heart in that and hold on in nbs.
it's amazing really how God sent her to me in a period where i'm still wondering why i'm in nbs doing smth i don't like, or that maybe i should've gone to smu or nus where i can (most probably) find more people to click with (many assumptions made here though).
how many times have i doubted or worried about it, only to have His reassurance. thank God!

indeed i don't know what the future holds. but i know God has taken care of it.
praying that God will bless gary with the pharmacy course as well! i've probably never seen anyone want smth as badly as he wants pharmacy.
and i'm done slacking i wanna go to work! haha. mainly because i wanna go shopping and revamp my wardrobe. haha. went all over town today looking for a dress from dorothy perkins which i saw a whole rackful of last thursday but in like 3days it's mostly gone. it always happens to me, whenever i can't decide whether to get smth or not and choose to ponder over it for a few days, and when i finally decide to get it, it's out of stock! :P just my luck.
got a couple of gatherings to look forward to though. just met up with babes on friday which was awesome, meeting up to celebrate jiang's (my roomie!) birthday on wednesday, going back to sa with the S07 girls (and maybe chandra? haha) on thursday and going for sakae sushi buffet on friday with a few sec sch friends. yay. (:
has anyone watched tv mobile and seen those 'inspiration' quotes? i think some of them are pretty cool! some brought back painful memories, like 'i've learned that i can't change the way i feel, but i can do smth about it'. but there are really lovely ones as well, like 'the Lord didn't do it all in one day, what makes me think i can?' and 'the most inexpensive way of making yourself beautiful is by smiling'. watch out next time you're on the bus! haha.
